Nearby Perth has a newly re-opened Theatre and an excellent Concert Hall.

Forthcoming theatrical productions will include "Knives in Hens" by David Harrower, Shakespeare's Richard III, and "Wind Resistance" by Karine Polwart.

The Concert Hall features classical concerts by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Perth Symphony Orchestra with internationally renowned soloists.
Concerts in April will include Dvorak's Symphony No. 4, Richard Strauss's Salome with Opera North, Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, and Mozart's Piano Concerto No.25.

On a lighter note, forthcoming attractions will include "The Carpenters' Story" and "Abbamania", both in May 2108.
